I saved my game and then the next time i went on FM i tried to load and it came up with an error message saying something like, invalid token on line 1 of saved game.

Has anyone else had this problem and can any help me as i was half way through a seaon and doing great, i really couldnt face doing it all again and i am reallly peed off.

Ever considered the possibility it might be your fault?
Has happened to me once ever, and that happened because I shut down the PC right after FM closed, while it was actually still processing, I believe.
Running too many background applications and virus scanners etc can provoke these issues; none of which it is any fault of SI's to fix.

heres what i do..

Turn pc off then reload and start up football man.

Play it then save and quit then check my email.

Turn computer of through start menu

How can that be my fault?

It depends on how much time you give the game to exit safely before shutting down; and what else you're running in the background, as I have said.

when i play its the only thing running.

When i save it and quit i check my mail for about 5 minutes.

same thing happens to me twice i get half way through a season and i save then quit and then i shut down. the next time i try to load the saved game, football manager minimizes and a message comes up saying "the saved game could not be loaded"

Hi is good in away to know that am not the only one getting this problem, however i am also realy peed of by it cos it means that there is porbebly a fault in the game or something, does any have any suggestions to how to fix it.

And when i play it is the only program running and i close it down and shut down my computer properly and it still ******* happens. I started a new game after i put this post up and it has done it again. NOT GOOD

i run browsers, itunes and msn whilst i play and it saves and shuts down fine. do you have a legitimate copy? as this could be another inbuilt device against copied versions
