ive played 3 seasons so far and havent had the board call any fan days? is this a patch update or a common thing to happen? i got few during the demo games but none so far in the real-deal

We do not, the board makes them from time to time.

The board set these up if your team is struggling with attendance and there is a fixture ahead with a low expected attendance.

There would be no point in setting up a fan day if your team is already drawing good crowds so with a bigger club with good attendances and good performances, you are unlikely to see these that often.
