Si now has a low profile communication.
It seems they want to reflect and evaluate the situation.

I dont see how SI could give an official response to this thread. It's a "screwed if you do, screwed if you don't" situation.
If SI reply saying they're happy, then the moaners will attack them for being lazy and not working towards total perfection. Posts like "how can you be happy when I cant score from corners" would flood the forum.
If SI reply saying they're not happy, then the moaners would attack them for releasing a "sub par" product and agreeing to it. The number of posts saying "if you knew it was crap then why did you release it?" would be off the charts.

My post wasn't meant to knock anyone. People have the right to express their opinion, I have no problem with that. I was merely commenting on the fact that I don't think SI will respond to this thread and gave my reasons why.
What I think about this game is irrelevant.

SI will probably not respond officially for the reasons that Bodis said- they usually wait for a few weeks after release of a patch, to evaluate the feedback before deciding on the next move. No company in SI's position will ever be completely happy and will always be striving to improve the product but there will come a time where further improvements will have to wait for the next version.

Tef1on, unless you know personally or happen to work closely with the members of SI, I don't think you have the right to make such a comment. The fact is a lot of work goes into the game and due to it's nature, perfection is almost impossible. The work required to create a patch in the time frame they have is immense. They are not required to do this legally, it's an exercise to improve the product which has already been paid for, making your point somewhat redundant.
To be honest I'm not too happy with the game at the moment but I won't resort to questioning the integrity of the company.
Oh, and in the context you have used the word, it should be 'they're', not 'their'. Basic grammar my friend.

Well, people coming to complain seems similar to last year.
Its just that...well, people who wants to complain about bugs come here, people who like things and like the way the game is, carry on playing the game, so, I'd say that spread of people that love the game is significantly more.
Oh well, every year we'll get the "I've played FM since yada yada and this one is rubbish" because the familiarity with the same, and having to start again each year, will eventually catch up with us all, so enjoy it while you can folks, thats all I can say.
I know eventually I'll be able join the people who can make a post saying "I've been playing for years and I cant play this years FM" but I dont plan to, because I know eventually I'll grow beyond the game and get bored of it, it happens. And when it does, i'll move on.
I'm babbling, the point is, if I were SI, I wouldnt be worried one bit,I'd know i've released something that is making people happy, and challenging them, no matter how much people wont agree with these.

They'd be mad to use this forum to measure customer satisfaction, they use far more scientific and reliable sources.
That doesn't mean they don't get valuable information here but they don't use it as a customer stisfaction survey.
The boards were just as bad last year and the year before that.
My perception is that the rants out shouted the measured posts for a short while but were more short lived than ever before.
