Jade Monkey is infamous around these parts
Default Erm, can I just ask...

As a rule, I never buy the game until the first patch is released and I kept to that this year. I did check in on the forums to scope the general reaction to the game and noted that there was a big issue with closing down. Having downloaded the patch and hurridly visited town to hand over my green for a copy, I found that during games my defenders seem confused as to what to do with the ball. If it is close to them, and an opposition player is a significant distance away, they seem to wait and obligingly allow the other player to take the ball, stay rooted to the spot and only move once too far behind to do anything.

Has this always been an issue? Are my players just morons? Has the patch solved the problem at all?

Thanks in advance for your comments.

depends what team you're managing....if you're managing Man Utd, then yes, Rio Ferdinand is a moron lol

Can't say I'm seeing that issue anymore since the full patch came out.

Then again as Spurs Manager, my players don't seem to bother much with defence anyway

I wish I knew what that all meant...

This has been happening for a few years now, so I think most of us are used to it.
