As Justified said I repeated the experiment on the International Scene using England with Ferguson as my assistant . But before posting the game changes I believe that this sort of test isn't balanced and should not be used as most of the team were substituted at half time due to managers requests. As a result each half were treated as a separate game in my view.
For this test I just took down any changes that occurred after the first minute at periodic times as a result you can assume that other options still stand, if there not shown than no changes occurred .
initial tactics 1st minute:
team instructions mentality closing down forward runs run with ball long shots try through balls marking free roles hold up ball
10th minute:
team instructions and mentality
28th minute:
team instructions and mentality
33rd minute:
team instructions and mentality
halftime:
hold up ball
50th minute:
free roles
I paused to late here so you can assume this screenshot is for the last ten minutes:
mentality
As you can see there are similarities to the club test. As far as closing down is concerned I believe this is due to the caliber of players available thus its slightly higher for the defenders than in the club test. But from my point of view this test is flawed in a way due to player restrictions.
Personally one of the biggest revelations is the use of mentality, as you can see from both test only 1 player usually the striker had an individual mentality given to them at any time. Compared to our tactics which included both individual and team mentalities. Maybe were just over complicating our tactics?
