Well compared to FM2007 funds are better but to challenge the title you'll need to be very active during Tranfers. Main problem is GK i guess as Baso, Banks is just not good enough and Kurskis sucks. Second problem will be decent striker. But as someone mentioned team is big so just sell couple of players and when chairman asks for season expectations choose to challenge the title. If your lucky you can have 7-8M€. Find a good staff addition. Find your tactics. I used 4-1-2-1-2 (wingers) and finished second the first season. Rangers and Celtics are quite hard to beat but at home you have every chance to do it. Good luck.

Well Bednar cannot be racalled. Anyway his attributes are lower compared to FM07 so he's quite useless.

And as for lithuanian legion i found usefull only Kšanavičius (AML) and Žaliukas (CD) as i use rotation.

Just slight observation Kšanavičius (should have slightly bigger (+1 +2) Acceleration/Pace and lower Consistency (5 maybe instead of 10).

Well most of them are loanies. And Ivaškevičius, Velička and Žaliūkas contracts (at Hearts) expires just couple of days from start (wich is a data issue).

Anyway, need to get rady for the Celtic - Hearts clash tonigh (Yes, they show Hearts in Lithuania). Cheers :-)

I am playing a spl network game with a friend. I follow celtic in the spl but me and me m8 fort being either of the big 2 wud be more interesting. He chose hibs so I went hearts. Said id go 4 a title chanllenge got a 2.6 mil budget. got new coaches all round as hearts dont hav ne really. cancelled all kaunas loans, every 1. wanted a more british, scottish team. Started off really bad couldnt win at all, 2 many changes i tink i made and 2 many tactic changes. Finally settled on a tactic and team, using kids from the reserves and under 19s. check out branimar copil and calum ellit. quality. also husband. back in top 6 now hopin stay there till the split. me m8 wit hibs, god damn him. he setting pretty in 3rd miles behind celtic and rangers but 12 points head o me lol. steven fletcher and benji are amazing for him. fletcher now owrth 4.5 mil and 25 goals in 29 games. benji near same! and he got dado prso on a free who banging goals in too. funny old game lol

I'm playing English Conference fitba, but have Hearts set as my favourite team in my profile. I plan to manage them when I've done everything I can with my Cambridge City.

I would think the Jambos are one of the easier teams to take to greater heights in the SPL in FM. I am interested to see what responses you get.

scotland play hard but fair. Miko is a cheat and deserved his punishment, just like dida, an embarrassment to the game.

Yeah, im doin really well with hearts, there is only money to spend if u sell.
My tip is to sign the best players from your feeder club karunus (which u can do by offering £0) and then sell them for around £1m each. they are crap (apart from bruno portugese).
I finished 2nd in my 2nd season and now in the champions league.
Best players to sign are reserve team players in the premiership, eg lee cook is awesome! and cheap
