2nd December: Derby County v Coventry

We got off to the better start as we kept Coventry in there own half. it took us till the 7th minute to open the scoring as Cadamarteri fired in from an acute angle. We kept pressing and on the half hour we doubled our lead as Bolder headed in. Just before the break we came close to scoring again as Cadamarteri rattled the crossbar.
We started well again in the second half as my midfield kept control of the game. Five minutes into the half we again came close as Lupoli fired straight at the keeper. However on the 63rd minute we conceded as a long ball over the top of my defence was brilliantly volleyed in. My players began to struggle and on the 76th minute we lost our two goal cushion as Coventry equalised

Derby County 2 - 2 Coventry (Cadamarteri 7, Bolder 30)

4th December: The FA Cup 3rd Round draw has taken place and we have been drawn away to League One outfit Leyton Orient

9th December: Hull v Derby County

A slow start for us saw us concede after only six minutes with yet again my defence letting us down. Luckily for them Bolder managed to equalise eight minutes later from 12 yards. It was becoming real end to end stuff. Hull were the next too score as they split my defence in half with a great through ball. At the half time break I told my defnce that I wasn't best pleasaed with how they were performing.
The second half started well for us as after only thirteen minutes Cadamarteri had equalised for us as he volleyed in Merediths cross. Six minutes later the same player very nearly gave us the lead but his shot went just wide of the upright. The game became very difficult for us on the 70th minute as Malcolm got himself sent off for a second bookable offence

Hull 2 - 2 Derby County (Bolder 14, Cadamarteri 58)

16th December: Derby County v Sunderland

A tough game against a struggling Sunderland. They came straight out at us and on the 8th minute forced Grant into a superb save. Again eleven minutes later we had Grant to thank for keeping us in the game after another great save denied Sunderland. On the 28th minute we somehow went into the lead as a shot by Cadamarteri managed to bobble under the Sunderland keeper. This spurred Sunderland and they continued the pressure to half time.
We started the second half well as we began to play very well. Within ten minutes of the start we had doubled our lead as Bolder continued his recent scoring form. However 8 minutes later our concentration slipped and Sunderland pulled a goal back. On the 76th minute we killed the game off as Edworthy headed in from six yards too give us an impressive 3-1 win

Derby County 3 - 1 Sunderland (Cadamarteri 28, Bolder 55, Edworthy 76)

I was very happy with my players with how they came out in the second half and controlled a game which for some time looked like Sunderland were going to rout us

Sorry to say this story has come to a premature end, as the saved game crashed, as you can imagine I'm well ****ed off. The Juventus story however will be carrying on
