Thanks BenArsenal hopefully in time I will, but for the first season I will be happy with anything above mid-table, the squad I've got isnt that good and it will be hard to bring ome good players in with no money as such

26th August: Just before the Home game agaisnt Noriwch City my players sat down to watch the draw for the League Cup 2nd Round. We have been drawn away to Premiership side Reading.

Derby County v Norwich City

We made the perfect start as after only eight minutes we had gone a goal up as Lupoli scored from six yards, Ten minutes later the same player nearly doubled our lead as he headed just wide of the post. A minute later Barnes was the next to have a good effort but the Norwich keeper somehow managed to tip it round the post and from the resulting corner Camara headed into the keepers arms. Just before the break Norwich had there chance to equalise but failed to connect with the ball and the danger was cleared well by my defence,
The second half was only five minutes old when substitute Howard headed in to give us a two goal lead. Norwich looked shocked with how we had come out from the break. My players did very well and kept concentration throughtout the half and we ended up with a valauble three points

Derby County 2 - 0 Norwich City (Lupoli 8, Howard 50)

6th September: Burnley v Derby County

We got off to a great start as Howard opened the scoring after only six minutes, we then managed to hit the post as Oster fired in from 15 yards. Burnley then came close to equalising after a poor clearance by Camp was volleyed back towards goal. The game started to open up more and both teams continued the forward play. On the 39th minute we doubled our lead as Cadamarteri headed in from short range,
The second half was much the same as both teams pressed forward, luckily for us our keeper Camp managed to stifle the Burnley forwards as did the Burnely keeper do with our forwards.

Burnley 0 - 2 Derby County (Howard 6, Cadamarteri 39)

9th September: Derby County v Wolves

Wolves started the better and we looked quite poor. My defence however kept us in the game with some great tackling. Unfortunatly they let there work slip on the 15th minute as Wolves broke free of them but luckily for us Camp came out well to smother the ball.It wasn't till the 38th minute that we had our first real effort as Camara headed stright at the keeper.
The second half saw Wolves coming at us some more but we were brilliant in defence. On the 63rd minute we managed to take the lead as Barnes thundered in a shot from 25 yards to surprise the Wolves keeper. Unforutnatly that was Barnes last action of the game as he had to be replaced with what looks like a hamstring injury. I decided to change the formation after the goal to a defensive 5-3-1-1. It worked brilliantly as we stifled any attack that Wolves sent our way and we earn't a very good three points

Derby County 1 - 0 Wolves (Barnes 63)

10th September: I've brought in Matt Arnold as my new Youth Coach, so hopefully he will be able to bring through some of my young stars and save me some money in the transfer market

12th September: Derby County v Ipswich

We got off to the worse start as after only a minute we were a goal down, this however woke my players up and we started to play some football. On the 10th minute we scored the equalsier as Howard headed home. This lifted my players more and we took the lead five minutes later after a great finishing shot by Cadamarteri. Ipswich refused to lay down and started to come at us more and on the half hour they equalised as Camp cost us a penalty after a stupid tackle in the area. On the stroke of half time Ipswich retook the lead as my defence let me down.
We began the second half the better and put Ipswich under alot of pressure but couldn't find that elusive killer touch. On the 73rd minute we lost Camara to a facial injury, four minutes later we managed to equalise as Peschisolido fired in after coming on as a hafl time substitute

Derby County 3 - 3 Ipswich (Howard 10, Cadamarteri 15, Peschisolido 77)

Camara will only be missing for between 5 and 14 days with a gash to his cheek
