this is my first attempt at role playing in fm 07, so dont be too angry if you find the narrative and all that bad. just tell me and ill try improving. I have created a team called the "London Crusaders" an attempt to unite london under one team. am not english which is exactly why i am attempting this tomfoolery. first match and signings and all that coming soon. please give me a shout if you want to find out about what happens. thanks to faramir for all his brilliant stories.

Fisher United went bust after last season's dismal performance and spending frenzy. the league is not considering an extra promotion but the creation of a totally new team to be inserted in the fish's place. well, our petition has been on their desk for 3 years now so all the zeal and excitement had worn off, but when we got the call that we were to play in the south conference it all came back in a rush. Some friends had grown tired of waiting and had moved on, but the that did not deter us from our ambitions to one day win the premier league. It was a ridiculously long road ahead for us but every journey is started by a step so we most enthusiastically took that step. We had no players but what we DID have was a chairman, a makeshift board,me as a manager, Jimmy Dack as assistant,Mark Macmahon as coach and Callum Harper as scout. all mates of mine. Thus our adventure began
First day at the office. seems so weird to be sitting in this room as the MANAGER of a football club. woah! deep breath now.
BAM!! door bursts open. Jim is practically tripping over himself to give me news. once he does so a wide smile is etched on my face. heres why- we had shown light interest in quite a few of the rejects from the youth systems of big clubs. apparently all of them had readily signed on with us. its amazing how much good talent large clubs throw away. we had just got our under 18 team and boy was it a good one. but that most definately doesnt solve our first team problems. sent Callum scurrying after some twenty free-agents to select our first team. i suppose he's earning his keep. Jim, Mark and I sat down together to discuss the potential tactics we were going to use. mark is extremely good at training players to be fast and good strikers of a moving ball so we decided we were going to play a wing based formation that looked a little like this-

so we had to look foor good wingers and wing backs as well as target men. i narrowed my search and told Callum what to look out for. should get sime decent signings in the next week.
Its funny because when I saw the title I thought this story would have a medieval setting, playing too much of that type of game I guess
Just a tip, try and remember to capitalize and read over what you've got before hitting post. I'm a find one to talk I still have errors even after doing that, but it does help!
apoorv- To be honest that is about the highest compliment you could give- to be encouraged enough by my stories to write some of your own- so I do appreciate the comment
