This started out as a sign-up game where I create a team called Droitwich United and add them to the Conference North replacing Droylsden. Link to the sign-up thread can be found here.
This first post is functioning initially as the Introduction to the story as I have only just created the game and to give an idea of what is to come. I will weave you a wee bit of an intro story in any case.
In summary the game was created with the following leagues: Australia, Brazil, England (conf n/s+), France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, N Ireland, Portugal, Scotland, Spain, USA and Wales on a large database.
All players start with a random CA and a PA of -10. Apart from positional stats and relationships, all remaining stats are randomised unless the player specifically requested something.
The team starts with a balance of £100,000, with medium training and youth facilities and a ground of 10,000 capacity with room for 120,000. A steady breeze blew grass clippings over the feet of the man. His name was Oscar and he was the new owner of the latest addition to the English Conference North side, Droitwich United. This turn about had come unexpectantly after the liquidation of Droylsden, but nonetheless he was pleased. After quickly raking together some fresh new faces and quickly appointing a new manager, things were looking up for the Dutch businessman. Now only time would tell if he and his club's fortunes would follow suit....
