The big problem with Argentina is - they are not Brazil. They lack the class of Brazil - Argentina tend to be a bunch of hackers, although not as much hackers perhaps as Uruguay. Whilst Brazil have Pele, Rivelinho, Garrincha - Argentina have Maraddrugga.
But the class of 2010 are ready to take on the World and bring home that famous trophy for only the third time. For whilst all the others have their class acts, they do not have the one thing this Argentina side does.
Lionel Messi.
Oh, and me of course.

In the build up to the 2010 world cup in South Africa theres one manager suprisingly extremely confident of bringing the trophy back with him. That manager being the french coach who will be looking to bring the trophy back to france for only the second time.

The Dutch squad, still led by World Cup Winning Chris de Bruijn, would be defending their FMS World Cup Title. Of course, no one in this version of the game world actually knew about that. Or about Chris de Bruijn. And in this universe, Patrick Kluivert was rubbish, rather than that he had helped the Dutch on their way to their very first World Cup victory.
But that was not of concern now. The target was clear for the Dutch manager. Win the World Cup. Not that it was an easy target. But a target nonetheless.
However, when Chris took control of his squad, he decided he would have to tone down his expectations quite a bit. The Dutch were quite simply not up to the standard of his 2006 winning squad. At least the likes of Arjen Robben and Robin van Persie would be able to strike some fear into the oppositions full backs.

Usted Nunca Caminará Solamente - Spain Introduction
Just how many Liverpool players could I take with me in the Spanish World Cup squad? Pepe Reina, Xabi Alonso and Fernando Torrrrrrrrrrrres were obvious, but could I really get away with picking Dani Pacheco, Mikel San Jose or Deigo Castro? The answer, of course, was no, I wanted a full strength squad to under achieve with.
A nation that has given the world some of its greatest talents, a league that is considered amongst the best there is. Yet not once had Spain even got to the final of the tournament. This time would be no different, the only remaining answer to be found, was just how bad they would be.

The England FA sacked Steve McClaren after his squad submission did not include a right back, judging by the rest of the squad I had to pick from we’d be lucky to beat South Korea or whomever else was in the Group.
Woodgate, Ferdinand, Cole and Carrick all injured as well wasn't going to help! but I suppose there was some talent their who knows we might get past the group stage?
Well on closer inspection Micah Richards could play right back at pinch but does it matter? even if we get to the next stage, we’ll just go down in penalties.
Other news in South Africa sees the Israeli manger quit the team, then retire, then bloody take the job back.
Cant the Israeli secret police do something about this guy, sheesh!

I'd taken the Israel job but when the public realised that I wasn't Jewish...
...but whoever's heard of a Jewish Welshman!
That was that, or so I thought. 2 days later, the Israeli F.A. rang me saying:
a) we're desperate
b) we'll double your salary
c) The public have forgiven you.
Well, I didn't believe c) but, I NEED THE MONEY!
So, I was now back in charge!
2 days later!
Moore talking to himself:
"So Benayoun behind Sahar & just pack the forces"
*knock on door*
"Hello, I'm from Mossad"
*BANG*
"Non Jew as manager, never."

Portugal, led by the mysterious Amaroq, have drawn an easy group: Switzerland, Iran, and Angola. They cruised through the Qualifying section, winning nine straight by shut-out, before fielding an experimental squad against Russia in the finale, finishing 9-0-1 and top of the table.
Goalkeepers: Daniel Fernandes, Moreria, Ricardo
Defenders: Manuel Da Costa, Fernando Meira, Paulo Ferriera, José Gonçalves, Jorge Andrade, the injured Miguel, Pepe, and Zé Castro.
Midfield: Deco, Manuel Fernandes, Nani, Ricardo Quaresma, Cristiano Ronaldo, Simão, Tiago
Forwards: Hélder Postiga, Hugo Almeida, Nuno Gomes, Ricardo Vaz Te, Yannick Djaló.
...
And the World Cup is under way!
In Group A, Brazil beat Italy, 1-0, on a late goal by Cicinho, while Morocco and the Ukraine draw nil-nil.
