As far as I can see, there is no connection between the people who have complained. Given the location of some of the IP addresses I can probably guess why they hit the report post button.

Your last statement really does seem to be a toys out the pram approach to what was a legitimate point made.

I have to back up Peacemaker here. As he stated, this is fiction. There has always been controversy in fiction, that is the beauty of it. We can create characters who engender emotion in people, who don't necessarily portray what we as the author actually believe.

PM has pushed boundaries many times before, but I refuse to accept that he even came close this time. The people who reported this post can obviously not appreciate that this is a fictional tale, and to take offence at something as tame as this story borders on the childish.

Anyway, I think this thread should be closed. It's gone way past the story which I believe PM now has little intention of continuing and any further discussion should be moved to the forum off-topic thread.
