FA Premier League Matchday 7

Liverpool (1) Birmingham (1)

A good performance but still not the result we want or need at this stage of the season. We really need to start winning reguarly again like we did in pre-season if we wan't to get anywhere near the title this year. Fernando Torres opened the scoring on 85 minutes in the match itself. At that point i thought we might just get the points but Cmaeron Jerome had other ideas and equalised 3 minutes later.

FA Premier League Matchday 8

Sunderland (2) Liverpool (3)

A good win for the boys after a bit of a sticky start in this thriller. The game was 3 minutes in when David Connolly found the net. This seemed to wake the lads up and on 24 minutes our Spanish Sensation Fernando Torres grabbed a goal which made it 1-1. 4 minutes later Sunderland were 2-1 up as Kenwyne Jones squezzed a shot past Pepe. It took only 1 minute for us to equalise when Stevie G headed home. Then on 48 minutes we went ahead when Nando scored his second of the game and that is how it finished.

Champions League Group F Match 3

Werder Bremen (2) Liverpool (2)

What a great result on our travels. We came to Germany expecting to lose to a strong Werder Bremen side but the result we got was outstanding. On 35 minutes Werder Bremen were 2-0 up and ourfans thought it was just about over. Last time our fans thought it was over we won on penalties to become 5 time European Champions and on this night we produced another outstanding comeback. On 68 minutes Andriy Voronin gave us a glimmer of hope and on 80 minutes Ryan Babel fired the ball into the back of the net to make it 2-2 and get us an all important point.

I will be restarting this story when FM08 is released with that game. It is easier that way. I will probably give Liverpool more cash though
