'Ok guys' Muffy had called all the coaches together. 'How are things shaping up out there.'
'Not very well' Steal Degiros admitted.
'I'm afraid we have a right bunch of pansies here Muffy' Varc Mogan agreed.
'Any moves on the transfer market?' Coal Collier asked, 'We could do with moving a few of these guys on and bringing in better quality'
'No can do' Muffy said sadly, 'I'm afraid we're stuck with these imbeciles.'
Muffy outlined the contract situation to the rest of the coaching staff.
'That a shame' Steal Degiros said, 'So we'll just have to lick this lot into shape.'
The next day Everton Reserves came to Holker Street. This could be an interesting match, and by half time it was still goalless. Which wasn't too bad.
'That wasn't too bad' Muffy seemed reasonably pleased, 'VD and Festeringfan2 you guys are causing real damage down the wings, well played. I think it's only a matter of time before we score.'
And for once, Dark Muffy was absolutely correct.
Just on the hour, VD crossed from the right and Vanparkedus easily jumped to head the ball into the net. Hyperactive were ahead and looking good . On 73 minutes Muffy made six changes from the starting line up and four minutes later Farrymir set up Darkyt with a nice little tap in. This was much better than those other crap FMS team stories, that was for sure.
With seven minutes left to play, Farrymir also got himself on the scoresheet. A long ball from Boners was knocked into Farrymir's path by Darkyt and although his first shot was saved, the yank still had the composure to follow up with the rebound. Muffy was a very happy man.
''I'm a very happy man' Muffy beamed afterwards, 'An excellent performance for a first game. Lets keep it going for the rest of the season.'

Great stuff as ever PM, though I do have to say that if I don't play and score in this game on a regular basis I will have to find Terk's story much better. |

It was the game of the season. The game of the century even. Possibly the greatest match of all time. Hyperactive would take on the Hyperactive reserves.
'You'll take charge of the B team' Muffy told Blob Blev, 'Steal Degiros will help you. Remember it's only a friendly and your side are the more expendable so no funny stuff.'
'Certainly not Sir' Blob Blev seemed offended at the mere thought. There seemed to be an awful lot of offended people running out these days.
The Hyperactive A side lined up with Jerk in goal, and back four of Spaz, VELCRAS, Amacok and Attishoo. The midfield consisted of VD, Fart Wilson, Dipstix3 and Festeringfan2 with Pacemaker8 and Vanparkedus up front. Alesspazzo14, Boners, Knockoffdvd, Farrymir and Shag found a place on the bench.
The B team would be Blind Dick in goal with a back four of Gonner, DimT, Beano and Ger, a midfield of BenDover, fanny.starved, Craptor and baa baa blacksheep, with Iwishgaygun and Darkyt front and Blob Blev on the bench along with some youths dragged in off the street.
The stage was set for a cracker of a match, in front of a massive crowd of sixty six people.
Just eighteen minutes had gone when the fans were treated to a bit of magic as VELCRAS played a ball over the top for Pacemaker8 to chase and with Blind Dick unsure where he was, the striker chipped the ball over him from the edge of the area. A fantastic, well take goal that would be worth of goal of the season.
The A side were awarded a penalty on 23 minutes after pacemaker8 was tripped by a jealous Craptor inside the area, but the striker did not want to embarrass his B team colleagues too much and generously blasted the ball over the bar. At half time the scored remained 1-0 to the A side, and it had been a fairly entertaining first half and the fans were waiting eagerly for the second.
As the A team showed their superiority so it was only a matter of time before they scored a second. With 68 minutes gone, Jerk launched a long ball up the park, Vanparkedus laid it nearly into the path of Pacemaker8 and the striker easily slotted the ball home. Straight away Muffy threw on all five substitutes and on 82 minutes Attishoo set up Shag for the 3rd and in the end a comfortable win for the players who should be the first choices in the season ahead.
