desinging the cover art for a cd and also for his case??

A friend ,knowing that I like drawing with photosop 7
give me a chalange........... desing a cover art CD case
for his friend who as a band.

Now to be very honnest with you good people I do not
know how the heck I can do that !!

So I thought that maybe I could find a tutorial about it
and here I am begging you to help me lol.

Well for sure I didn't say that to him as it is a chalenge
I told him that it was no probem for me at all then he
enswered me that he didn't beleive me lol

Well maybe he will be rigth but first,I hade to come here
(without his knoledge lol) to see if you people can help me
save face ha ha ha ha ha ha

p.s. please excuse my english as I am french Canadian.

Have you tried using a search engine with the keywords "CD case cover tutorial"???
There are about a half dozen tuts out there, some with templates.

As for the design itself, there are no "talent/skill" tutorials, so you'll have to do that yourself.

You know, while your artwork is best created in Photoshop or perhaps Illustrator, there are a number of applications which assist in creating the inserts for CDs and others which set up a CD or DVD for printing. I'm familiar with Macs and can point you to...

I have made the case desing (at less this is done) now
I am working on the back of the case ..list of songs etc

Regarding the ''donut''desing for the CD well I am not
willing to pay for a programm only for a one time work
but fore sure I will visite the links you guived me [righton]
