Just wanted to say since I joined these forums (albeit not very long ago) I have read a fair amount of the stories on here, and I just wanted to say what a high standard there is.
I am not part of the voting this year, but I wanted to have at least one of my own stories started and actually receivng views and comments before I feel I could comment with any substance on others. I do hope to interest you all with the twists and turns of a story one day soon.
This might look as if it has no point to it, and you may be right, but I just wanted to say a big congratulations to everyone nominated, and almost all of these has kept me glued to my screen just wanting to find out the next installment.
And it is also very nice to be part of something which makes you feel involved and comfortable almost straight away. So last three words....
Voted at last. So many good candidates to take my "Newcomer of the Year" crown. I found it very difficult to make a choice, and I may change my mind yet.....
Therefore, potentially missing the opportunity of being newcomer of the year next year as I've started before the ceremony!
No, I started out August of the previous year and still wound up eligible for Newcomer of the Year this year, you should still be up for next year's.

Don't limit yourself! Readers are as valuable a part of this community as writers are, without you there's nobody to write for!
