I feel like a prize idiot...Firstly, because I have never read the stickied threads I miss out on the voting. I'm not asking for any rule-bending, rules are rules & I accept that.
Secondly, I start my first story as an author, during the Awards process! Therefore, potentially missing the opportunity of being newcomer of the year next year as I've started before the ceremony! I'm a prize fool.  |

Nope should be fine, the cut off date for this years awards is also the start date for next years so don't worry about it.
Terk can decide whether to deal you in or not as regards the voting. We shouldn't really bend the rules, on the other we do want to encourage as many people to be active on the forum as possible.
