just entering the new season 2013 and im finding a problem with contracts. I have checked whos contracts are up and 70% of my squad is at the end of the year, so i start to renegotiatate and they all want 2 year deals, ok but if i offer 3 year they say that the length of contract stinks(just one extra year??!)
It gets me thinking because the remaining 30% all run out 1 year later, so i have obviously only been able to get 2 year deals in the past for them too!
Back in previous versions i have bribed players to sign with lucrative signing on deals, better wages or yearly increases - this no longer sways them for even just one more year!
Its now at the point where many wont sign and i could lose all the money i have spent on them and my years of planning in 2 just years!
It does seem to me that some players are more inflexible with their demands in this version. Same thing too sometimes persistence wore down a player (offering the same contract five separate times he finally accepts the fifth time) that doesn't seem to be happening much in this version either. At the same time I don't have a huge sample to go on but I did notice it as a slight trend in my savegame.
