| Yes, totally agree with this and I said as much in my original post. The facts I spoke about though compared stats of player at the same age range though with 4 yrs difference and there was a large difference between the figures.
I just really wanted to highlight the potential problem and see if anyone who had got further in and could post their own figures.

I've seen a silimar thread to this before.
It mentioned most national teams were full of very old players because there were no regens good enough.
Might be worthwhile posting a link to this thread in the bugs forum.

I've played through to 2021 and I found the standard of new players to be pretty good. Maybe not as high as in the starting database, but there really wasn't a whole lot of difference. My star player was a regen from Portugal who was pretty comparable to Moutinho (sp?) at the start of the game, and the big clubs in Europe (West Ham, Portsmouth, Chelsea, Lyon, Valencia, Getafe, Barcelona, Genoa) all had squads packed with high quality 15-20M players.

| That sounds really promising. Hopefully it just takes a while for the game to level out a little at the beginning and that's what I'm experiencing now.

I'm now in 2015 and havent noticed any of the problems you have mentioned. I have about 30 playable leagues loaded. Plenty of regens with top attributes in all positions.
