Hey, I'm playing as Lyon (Pre Patch, but the game itself is updated now), It seem's whenever I holiday a match, I'll come back and my players feel they've been treated unfairly. This happened with my original Assistant Manager and now my replacement.

Is there a stat for this to stop happening? Or is it a bug? Or just something for lazy people to stop automanaging :]?

Any help would be appriecated, cheers.

Unfortunately when you go on holiday you give up such rights. Surely if you had a Vinnie Jones type in midfield who kept getting sent off for assault you'd expect him to get a fine?

I tended to go on holidays quite a bit in FM07 towards the end of my career (got bored of winning stuff after 9th season) and found the Ass Man would totally bollox up all my good work with poor results, costing me the leaague time and again.

I haven't gone on holiday much in FM08, is this still the case?

I've had the opposite. I was banned for a match, so my Ass Man (Terry Venables) took control. We were losing 2-0 at half time, but came back to draw 2-2. The players after the game then all congratulated me on my half time team talk, which, of course, I didn't even do.

Made me smile.

Hmm. I must admit, I've never used the feature in 07 or 08. Might try it out though. Especially near the end of the season when the league's won and there's no chance of promotion or relegation...
