I think that, in a future version of FM, there should be an option where, when you ask the Assistant Manager to select the team, you should be able to tell him what players you want to be included in the team, or what players you don't want him to include.

What are anyone elses views on this? (I mean I know I can then manually put the player in... but what about going on holiday etc. ?)

When you go on holiday you can choose to play the current team where possible can you not?
