| He's not exactly playing at the highest level though is he? I think the original poster was only interested in players still playing at the highest level.

Giovanni for my Melbourne Victory side at 38 years of age in FM07. Was the best striker I've ever had in any FM game.

my oldest player is 29 and he's only in my team because he's the captain, otherwise he would have been sold

There was a 51 year old player at Mansfield in FM07. I used to buy him just for kicks sometimes (when I had too much money to spend.  ).

There was a bug in CM 99/00 I noticed that had David Seaman playing until his early 60s.

I'll put a player on the pitch if he's old IF:
a)his pace is better than a one legged spider
and b) if he still want 1st team soccer.
I had Mustapha Hadji on my team and he was good until he hit 35 and then his pace and most of his stats dropped rapidly - at which point I shelved him. There's no point having an awesome tackler of the ball if he gets to the ball last...

| I got Mustapha Hadji for Burscough. He was a bit too old and slow but I used his skills to train younger players to Play One Two's or whatever he had to offer.
