I noticed that this year the African Champions League has a team from Zanzibar in it, but Zanzibar is not in the game. Will AS Polisi but put in as Tanzania or will Zanzibar be created in the patch?
Zanzibar are a non-Fifa scanctioned team. (as its part of Tanzinia).
I would advise searching FM07 to see if Greenland, Tibet or Northern Cyprus are represented, if not (and i've just checked they'r not in FM05) then i'd guess that it won't be.
Having sai that, if we wait a while longer then someone with the game could probably confirm...
The Zanzibar national football team is the national team of Zanzibar, and is controlled by the Zanzibar Football Association. Zanzibar is not a member of FIFA and is only an associate member of CAF, and is therefore not eligible to enter either the World Cup or the African Nations Cup. FIFA claims that Zanzibar comes under the auspices of Tanzania, and is therefore represented at international level.

Don't know which version, but Tibet was in there. Crap as hell, but I'm sure I selected them with the "Load all players from" option.
Tne difference between Zanzibar and Greenland, Tibert and Northern Cyrpus is that Zanzibar actually have a team in the African Champions League.
For example... let's say that Anglessey decided they wanted to have an independent football team from Wales and UEFA tell them they can have one spot in the Champions League - a lot of people would be saying Anglessey should be a nation in the game. This is no different.
What is the status of Zanzibar?
