I'm not doubting Larsson's heading abilities, but to put it in context.
Larsson shouldn't be used as an example to show Tevez can win headers over Vidic because:
1. Larsson can jump, head many times bette than Tevez.
2. The vast majority of Larsson's goals were scored in Scotland and Sweden, where the defenders aren't neccessarily smaller, but definitely not of Vidic's quality.
3. Larsson typically scores very powerful headers from a run, whilst he can jump really well, it would still be hard for him to win headers from a standing start against someone like Vidic.

is height taken into consideration by the match engine when it comes to deciding who wins headers?

as far as i'm aware, height is (and only ever has been) used as a control on the maximum number jumping can reach.
Although it is my opinion that this needs to be remedied as there are many cases where jumping isn't a factor for headers and the taller player should win, although i can't see SI changing how the game works....why do that when they can merely add half baked new features

High balls are a crucial part of football and height it a crucial part of challenges in the air. I'd say not having height in the game is the equivalent of not having passing as an attribute. Most defenders these days are picked for their abilities in the air. And jumping/heading is not everything. No height for defenders=no passing for midfielders imho.

One of the goals he scores on a glancing header
| Glancing headers aren't usually the ones that you would struggle to meet by jumping.
Most are from crosses coming straight to a players head.
Therefore in this case it was probably coming to Tevez' head and as long as he stays in front on Vidic all he has to do is guide it in.

what your point? I also asked in my previous post what type of headers they were. I said it's not that unusual for Tevez to beat Vidic if there's alot of movement. But very unlikely if it was a standing start.

Its opposite for me, Aaritalo, he's a pretty tall guy with good jumping and good heading, but I have yet to see him win a header against a defender with lower jumping stats and when he does win one he isn't able to control the headed ball.
