I just cant seem to get into that fm groove finding it so hard to just play it for more than 5 mins and thats after the patch.I think its something to do with the new interface find it very poor. anybody got any ideas???

Every version i have the same prob.Takes a couple of months and then i get into it.Persevere.

I always find it hard to start a new save game or team, regardless of version. There's all the tedious stuff - setting up your training, tactic, etc, and I'm not as emotionally involved in the team and players at first.

I'd say give yourself time with it ..

If you're disliking the interface - or just distracted by it - try downloading a new skin.

Well im well into my game at the moment. I think sometimes the reason is why people don't get into their games is when they are not winning. I started with a highish championship side(usually i start unemployed but decided to have a change) and got promoted in my first season and am now 14th in the premiership half way through. Maybe try starting with the highest side in any 2nd tier league and see how you go.

It took me a while to get into the new game as well. I was having a superb game from 07 but it was time to move on as I like to keep up to date with the latest.

I've started managing my hometown and it was fun for some time but haven't touched the game in weeks now.

I'm looking for that spark as well.

I might try managing in some place I would never mange in FM, like Singapore or some South American league. I would suggest that to you as well and see if it sparks anything.
