Does the match engine work differently when you pick Highlights instead of Full Match?

I'd been drawing and winning by slender margins most of my games when I set the view option to highlights only. I lost the game 5-2 with two disallowed goals.

Something doesn't seem right?

You mean you actually watched the full 90 minutes of your matches before?

Yep, because I've had the suspicion that if my team isn't very clued in they tend to catastrophically implode I've been doing it for most of the season, running the game in the background windowed as I do other things most of the time =p.

Just when I thought the team was settled enough to give it a go I got hit with the 5-2 result and now they're all depressed and weepy.

Maybe its just bad luck, doubt it has anything to do with whether you watch the whole game or not, because then surely we would all be watching the full matches to increase the chances of our team winning..

Should be the same, of course you can make more changes when you watch the full game on more occasions. But it is essentially the same, at least that is what SI say and they are the ones that should know. The match gets calculated at the start, but the calculation is re-done after tactical changes.
