Hi,

Im currently managing northern ireland on fm 2008 but so it does not get boring i have also taking over the U19's and the U21's but my question being,

Does it get your repuatation up by winning cups and tournaments at U19's and U21's level.

Thanks In Advance.

I have no idea, but I may as well post one minor irritation with international management in the thread to avoid clutter.

Why... WHY... can I not persuade ANY players out of international retirement? I'm managing England and I'm trying to get Scholes and Carragher out of retirement. I can understand Scholes saying 'no' but Carragher retired because he wasn't being picked by McClaren. He'd be first choice for me.

Maybe in future we cna have the option of explaining to the player why we're asking them to come back?

A little bit OT but here goes!!

I thought there was an option to go on holiday until you had to pick the squad for the next game??
I go on holiday until about 2 weeks before the match and this is fine but I would prefer it it I could just do it at the click of a mouse rsther than find out when teh next game is and then go on holiday!!

There is:

- Click manager options
- Choose data
- Gives you option of returning for next squad selection which is usually 6-7 days before the next match.

I managed to coax Robbie Savage out of international retirement for Wales. Then i didnt pick him for the squad, and he threw a hissy fit, and retired again and now hates me.
