Now having just started a Lower league game yesterday. It has just struck me how I have had a groundsmen asking me about the Pitch size I want!

Now I was wondering, do must lower league teams in say the Blue Sqaure North even have groundsmen?

The majority of people from England will have seen an F.A Cup game where the non league team have the manager as the groundmen and kit man etc!

Have I got a point or am I barking up the wrong tree? :p

Looks like Maidenhead FC (Blue Square N/S) have a groundsman.

Just looked at a few others only Alfreton dont appear to have one!

No worries... I was curious about that myself. I chose Maidenhead because they're one of the (financially) poorest Blue Square clubs. I figured if they had one, most of them would.

I have one and I'm Chippenham Town who start off below the league pyramid on the game, and he asked me my pitch size. Never thought about it to be honest, would have just assumed that every club had one

Well, I've played for (and watched) teams far lower than Conference [Regional] that have had groundsmen.

Chorley definitely do. I had a pint with him after a game I watched up there.
