i've been correct about penalties and have had players think that i should keep my opinions to myself. ungrateful runts.

^ you need to show a screenshot then. From my experience playing the game, ignoring the media interaction has no impact on the game.

You wouldn't actually click anything within the media interaction...you simply ignore it and press continue. When you do this, there should be no effect, positive or negative.
