In EHM when a player go down his circle becomes smaller so you can really see he is down. I think it would be nice in FM aswell, might stop me from swearing at my stupid defenders from time time.

This is especially important for goalies. I'd like to know when they're diving and when they're not.

I think there should be more information in the comentary on things like this as well, when a player is on the air, on the floor, what foot/body part he's taking the ball with, the expression on the player's face. The comentary should be our eyes and ears (well I suppose the sound should be our ears) for the things that the 2D view can't tell us.

In some situations where there's a lot of stuff going on, such as shots/goals, extra graphical pointers such as this one would be very good indeed.

If I remember correctly, it actually used to be like this in CM4. Not sure why they changed it, I'd like it back because then I could distinguish between the player going down/tripping and giving up in a challenge.

Missed sliding tackles, tripped player, taking an easy fall to try and get a freekick or just simply get a complet brain meltdown and stops or give up. Makes a lot of difference to me and at the moment you have no idea of knowing if your player is even standing on his feet.
