I'm finally hanging up my virtual manager boots.
(this is not a rant)
I can't forgive SI for not giving Leeds Utd's reserve team fixtures as I can't develop youngsters or get players match fit (unless I start then in 1st team) - but, mistakes happen.
For this reason, I am not playing FM. I'm not moaning or ranting, just stating my reasons.
After many years of playing FM, I think the time has come to call it a day. I'm 30 next year and have a g/f and a 15month old kid. No longer are my weekends going to be spent trying to create tactics and searching for players. Now I will be able to concentrate on finishing the jobs around the house and spending more time with the family as I think I was a bit too addicted to FM.
Anyone else feel they spend too much of their time playing FM?

I'm 28 and have been playing since Cm2 and I have a full time job and a g/f. You can always find 10-15 hrs a week to play this game as far as I'm concerned. So what if the girlfriend is whining. That's their job anyway. I don't see much of the TV and travel time to work is minimal so I still find time.
With kids it might be another story. But once they're old enough then you can play this game with them.
