In my last 15 games I score every 7.8 shots compared to the ai's 1 in 13.4 shots

On target Me 45% ai 49%
Goals Me 34 ai 14

Im no tactical genius by any means but I still say if your shots to goal ratio is significantly worse than the ai's then there is something wrong with your tactics (assuming your players are at least equal to theirs).

Ignore what the match engine highlights are telling you about the quality of chances (this is the real "bug") and work out how to get your conversion rate up.

Another person using a lone striker having too many chances.

For me a lone striker should be getting less chances as he hold the ball up for midfielders but in FM seems to be a more attacking option than having two strikers.

Theres something odd about the way lone strikers work in FM.

I can dispell one myth here, the ME does not ever use any device to guarantee a realistic scoreline.
It uses all the data fed into it to produce the result.

I agree with those who see an imbalance especially when using certain tactics such as the single striker.

As always SI will investigate where evidence is produced, but, as we've already seen, solving ME issues can't be rushed.
