Playing as Arsenal and i'm using Adebayor,RVP,Eduardo and Bendtner as strikers.
So there's no need to go shop for more firepower upfront.
I'm playing my own 4-4-2 with 2mc's(the right one more defensive,the left one is Cesc). My wingers Hleb and Rosicky are in AML/AMR position with farrows into the penaltybox. They are set on much CF and mixed FR and are set to one touch passing.
My problem is i seem to not being able to score(it's hopeless). I create lots of chances but my strikers DO NOT score. I have tried to set them to strikers using the preset mode available, but it doesn't help.
Where am i going wrong???? Please help me, i'm starting to lose my faith in the FM series and i don't want to!!!
The only thing i've found that works consistently is to use a deep d-line and a fast TM with instructions to run onto ball.
It would mean bringing in a striker with pace and acceleration stats both of 17 or over, but it works an absolute treat and i finished 4th first season with West Ham and lead the Prem after 15 games in season 2.
Thing is i have tried that too, setting Adebayor as an TM with mixed FR and TTB often.
I don't know if it's my tactic that's wrong or if it's an in game problem. It feels much more harder than before to score. Have never ever encountred this problem before. It was much easier to score on FM 07.

Adebayor just is'nt quick enough to get this to work though mate.
You need a striker with the stats i mentioned above and believe me, it makes all the difference!.
Ok! Thanks for your help then. It's back to the drawing board i guess or i'll just throw the game out the window 'cause it's driving me crazy right now. The match can be even and so on i'm creating lots of chances and then the AI gets one and they score...very frustrating...
