does any one no how to stop the opponents having so many shots i am playing 4 3 3 i am doing ok in the premership with newcastle but the opponents are having so many shots

i have tryed playing the defence deep and tryed them pushed up but nothing seems to work can any one help

Try someone other than Newcastle...

Just kidding.

Try the following:

- keep your defenders mentality set to defensive
- have your defenders only close down in your own area
- have your mdiefielders close down all over the pitch
- in the Opposition instructions, Always close down opposition midfielders (and maybe even their fullbacks) to stifle incoming balls
- mark their strikers using man marking
- don't play 4-3-3 against a 4-4-2 or 4-5-1 formation, as their midfield will overrun yours.

Can't guarantee success, but it should stifle their attacks
