Just starting my second season with Milan and my current strike force comprises of Gilardino, Ronaldo, Amauri, Rossi and Totti. I've recently bought Totti, Rossi and Amauri and only want 4 strikers. I have also sold 50% of Huntelaar to Juvetus and Pato is on loan at Porto for the season. So, who do i keep, Gilardino or Ronaldo. My instinct says sell Gilardino and get some decent cash, and it will stop my 4 strikers being completely Italian. But, Ronaldo is now 31 and is now sligtly slower than last season.
What do people think? Any suggestions are more than welcome.
Get rid of Ronaldo. At 31, theres no use of him tbh. Why did you buy Totti? He's a great player but he's also 31 at the start of season 2 and really slow. Not a wise investement imo. How much did you have to shell out for him?
Anyway, get rid of Ronaldo. Because of his age and because he's injury prone. Keep Gilardino as he's good and young. Especially considering Totti's age. He, Rossi and Pato are your future. Why dont you get Saivet? The kid has a lot of potential and is very quick which none of your strikers are (dont know how much Pato's pace increase to). Also, if you decide to let Gilardino go, I'd recommend trying a swap deal of some kind. Maybe him for Tevez or Pandev?
keep gilardino and ditch fat ass, oh sorry, i meant ronaldo. iirc gila is on about 40k and ronaldo is about 90k so even if you dont get much cash for him, you'll get him off the books in terms of wages..
Thanks guys. In terms of pace, Rossi is quite fast, think he has 18 for both pace and acceleration. This is a network game and my friend is Roma, I bought Totti for 15m. It seemed worth it because a lot of the strikers i was after were looking to cost 35m+. And the Milan board gave me 100m to spend, and even though he's slow, you can't deny his other stats. I'll get rid of podgey anyway and keep gilardino.
