Hi got a bonus saying that the transfer market will be open all year round but when i go to preferences it's greyed out so how do i get it to work then?

You will have to enable it in the preferences at the start of a game, you cant switch it on half way through a game.
It only works on a new game

yeah went to preferences at the start then enabled it and loaded my save games but when i went back into preferences it was greyed out again?

once you have changed the preferences, it only takes effect when you start a new game because you cannot disable transfer windows in the middle of a loaded game.

I get this error too. Like when you save the game and the player names disappear it happens with the transfer window cheat too. This is frustrating as I can never keep the window open for a whole season. Any help on this?

Its stayed open for a few seasons for me but i never saved a game just auto-save. I thinkwhen ever you save the game manually it goes back to disable from what i can gather
