I will post the two games I got the chance to play, and then come up with an idea that will make it a new diary |

All the players on trial impressed on me so I signed them, now I hope I have a team that can stay clear of relegation. This month there is played two games, first away against Lund and then home against Höllviken. 17 April 2006
Catastrophe! My best goalkeeper Peter Rikardsson is injured after he had a bad fall on the practice. He will be out for the 2 or 3 first games. I don’t think Stenström have the skill to be a Premiere keeper, so I started to search the Free Agents after a decent keeper. 21 April 2006
20 year old goalkeeper Joseph Antabi signed with me today. My scout says he is a little better than Rikardsson so it should be a very good signing. He will probably be in the goal against Lund. 22 April 2006 Division 2 Södra Götaland
Lund – Asmundstorps IF
Arena: Klostergården IP
I was very optimistic before this game, even though the betting sites didn’t believe in my team. Lund was one of the favourites for promotion, so I knew it would be tough. In Lund plays Andreas Wihlborg, a defender that I wanted to buy but got turned down by him,. Starting Eleven (4-4-2)
Joseph Antabi
Andreas Elfving
Roger Nielsen
Urban Stoltz
Jonas Blomqvist
Zaman Safari
Christian Tanche
Fredrik Hansson
Lucas Egenwall
Johan Krekola
Robert Drwiega
The game started and Lund was on the attack immediately. Lund is said to be the town of the students, and you could se that on the stands, only young people. After 8 minutes Lund got a free kick on the side of the penalty box. The cross was headed out but then on Stockhaus shot the ball bounced on Safari and landed right in front of Eriksson’s feet and he could easy score the leader in empty net. Not a good start and it would get worse. Just five minutes later Stoltz was sleeping and went in wrong on a goal kick. The ball bounced over his head and gave Rendin a one-on-one with Antabi and he just had to roll it pass him to 2-0. We were totally smashed in the first and when the whistle blew I was delighted that it was only 0-2.
HALF-TIME
In half-time I encouraged the boys, tried to make them more concentrated and push the morale up. No subs though.
2ND HALF
Now my team was much more awake. Inside the first ten minutes we had several chances but only one went on goal. Drwiega is in very bad form and missed two chances were he was alone with the keeper. In the 60th minute Elfving got injured after a nasty challenge by a Lund player. It looked like a concussion and I had to take him of.
The game fell into a boring phase when both teams had problems passing and get the ball to the right player. But then in the 81st minute our friend Wihlborg hit a wonderful cross from a couple of meters outside the penalty box and Rendin just needed to direct it behind Antabi to the final result 3-0 Lund 3 Mattias Eriksson 8, Jesper Rendin 13,81 A-torp IF 0
Andreas Elfving is out a week with a concussion he got in the game against Lund.

Asmundstorp vs Höllviken
Arena: Asmundstorps IP
This game I really should win, the bookmakers give you 50 times the money if Höllviken wins this game. I really hope to win this as it’s the first home game this season. I made some changes in the team after the loss against Lund. Starting Eleven (4-4-2)
Joseph Antabi
Jonas Sundqvist
Roger Nielsen
Urban Stoltz
Jonas Blomqvist
Zaman Safari
Adem Bertilsson
Fredrick Hansson
Lucas Egenwall
Johan Krekola
Johan Lindgren
This game it was our turn to shock. I had decided to let many balls pass by Egenwall today as he was one of the few that impressed last game, and it resulted. In the 6th minute Egenwall got the ball on the left wing, and after he dribbled past a player he passed it to Hansson who were pulled down inside the area, penalty! Krekola stepped up on the spot, he awaited the goalkeeper to make his move and rolled it in close to the post. 1-0 and the first goal of the season.
We continued to dominate the game and when the half was over the shooting statistic was 7-0
The second half continued as the first ended and Höllviken had nothing, until the 76th minute, when Bergqvist headed on a goal kick to Lashkari who ran away from Sundqvist and blasted it in the roof of the net from the corner of the penalty box. A beautiful goal, but not fair. Their 1st shot on goal.
To this I reacted fast, I subbed in Drwiega as a 3rd striker and decided to take a chance and go full attack. It paid of, 5 minutes later, in the 81st minute Blomqvist got the ball from a Höllviken player. He hit a wonderful long pass from the half line that made Krekola one-on-one with the keeper. Krekola kept his head cool and gave us our lead back, 2-1!
The rest of the game was against one goal and we had 3 post shots in the remaining 20 minutes, but the score was firm 2-1. A-torp 2 (Krekola 6pen,81) Höllviken 1 (Lashkari 76) Table: End of April
<pre class="ip-ubbcode-code-pre">1.Lund2 2 0 0 7-1 62.IFK Malmö 2 1 1 0 2-1 43.MABI2 1 1 0 2-1 44.Laholm2 1 1 1 1-0 45.Sölvesborg2 1 0 1 4-1 36.Höllviken2 1 0 1 4-3 37.Påarp2 1 0 1 3-3 38.Asmundstorp2 1 0 1 2-4 39.Helsingborg S2 0 1 1 2-3 110.Infjärden2 0 1 1 1-2 111.Karlskrona2 0 1 1 2-5 112.Kirseberg2 0 0 2 0-6 0</pre>

I saw the note that was on my desk, it was from the owner, Leif Ohlsson. It said:
<pre class="ip-ubbcode-code-pre">COME TO MY OFFICE, IMMEDIATLY!</pre>
What the hell happened? I thought, so I took my Nissan and drove over to the facility. When I arrived I had a bad feeling about this thing. I walked up to is small office and when I opened the door he sat in his chair with a very angry look on his face. So there he is, the butcher, he said with an evil tone on his voice, his face was red of anger. W-what happened? Have I done anything wrong?, I answered, I was very scared now. What had happened? I felt how the sweat started pouring down my face.
[i}WHAT YOU'VE DONE? YOU RUINED THE WHOLE DAMN CLUB YOU SON OF A BITCH![/i] he sceamed in my face, his spit attakced my face. W-w-w-what are you talking about? Your signings have ruined us! we're 100,000 euro in guilt! But.... I started. No buts, get out of here! I don't want to se your face, you're fired! |

Simme, hope you don't mind some friendly advice. The best way to post a table is to use the CODE tags. Put {CODE} at the start of the table and {/CODE} at the end, except use [ and ] instead of { and }. Hope that makes sense.

Hi Simme, you have used code correctly its just that sometimes word screws with the settings once it's copied and pasted, what you have to do is check before you hit the submit.
If you go just before the '2' where MABI is and just push space until it aligns correctly in the first row, the spacing should go back to normal when this is the case, for IFK Malmo you would go to just before the '2' that is half way in the screen and just backspace until it aligns itself properly.
All that being said its a decent start, but something that tends to work well is just write the story as your playing the game but dont post until you get about 1/2 a year or year into the game, that stops little bumps in the road like you just had, it also allows other little story telling things to happen like forsight and hindsight.
Anyway welcome to the community, and dont let a few little bumps in the road discourage you.
