The boys got the contracts they had been told about, both signing 18 mths contracts worth £55 a week! Elliott has a £55 1st team game bonus and also a £1 goal bonus! Whilst Jake also has a £55 1st team game bonus and a £5 goal bonus.

Both contracts are a start - and I hoped the lads would go onto bigger and better things.

On the playing front Jake has been out of favour playing only U18 games, and these 2 games have been him coming off the bench and 1 goal.

Elliott however must be close to getting a 1st team call up, he played 2 U18 games netting 1, getting his usual yellow card and the man of the match award. He has also played 3 full 90 minutes for the 2nd team, again getting a yellow card but also scoring 2 goals, setting 1 up and getting the man of the match trophy against Droyldsen and a rating of 9.

With the U18 season close to a finish, it's looking like 2nd team games for the lads - and will Elliott get a 1st team run out if he continues with his great form?

Flipping Feb!

What a poor month Feb was!

Only 3 games each, another injury for Elliott - this time in training meant more time out, just when he was playing well for the 2nd string.

Jake played in 2 U18 games and picked up his first yellow card, whilst playing just 7 mins as a sub for the 2nd 11.

Elliott played for the U18's once and came on a sub twice for the reserve team.

Off the field Mark Robins has been sacked and as yet no manger has been appointed, this will either mean good news for the lads - or bad news and see them leave the club.

Just what lays in store for the lads?
