Lifelong Cardiff City supporter James Pearson, a manager with a continental reputation in football has been handed his first job in management by Lincoln City.
It is beleived Pearson chose Lincoln because he wanted to test his management skills at the lower league, using Lincoln City as a stepping stone to greater things.
Pearson has only been in the hot seat at Lincoln for 20 days and has already got fans of Lincoln dreaming of Premier League football. Pearson sacked all staff and has already replaced them, he has also reshuffled the squad bringin in quality youngsters from overseas. Pearson has been asked to get Lincoln a safe mid table position this year, although, his aims are for promotion.
James Pearson has so far signed :
David Martin from Liverpool.
Alex Fernandez a young striker from Coslada.
Andy Jordan on a free transfer.
And Miklos Kollat a young Hungarian striker from Budafok.
With more players on there way in, there is a lot of promise for the Imps this season.
