well,what can i say or do after this?i give up

Guys im so so sad.....i just cant make a nice result against Inter,which took and takes all the glory from me.

i am at the beginning of the 4th season,in the last season i finished second in serie A(85)points and inter finished first(90 points) and the last match of the league was me facing Inter at San Siro,if i won i would have win th serie A.....my guys played a very good match but even if we had more shots on goal(7)than Inter(6)we were down 3-0 after first half....game finished 3-0.

4 days later,the final of the Coppa Italia,me against Inter.This time they have ibrahimovic injured and i decide to play with 4-5-1 instead of 4-4-2.....it is an equal match again,we have our chanches but....i am down 3-0 at the first half....game finishes 3-0 for them......ok they took 2 thropies from me,but i will have my revenge in the italy supercup in the start of next season!!

I make some good buy and i prepare for the match,this time i play 4-4-2 but more defensively.....match starts and for this time not only it is an equal match but we have 60% ball possession in the first 20minutes and we have some good chanche....but their defender take the ball from my Riquelme and makes a long pass towards the right side of the field(left side for me),my defender has a clear advantage to get the ball,but ,for just no reason, stops for a second and then ibrahimovic(which was way more far from the ball than my defender)get on ball,cross for adriano,goal,1-0.....ok 2 minutes later my midfielder pass the ball back to the defender which pass to the other defender that stops with the ball,adriano comes,steals the ball,shoots from distance,2-0......10 minutes later,cornerkick for them,ibrahimovic's header,3-0 at the end of first half.I decide to give it a try and make the team play a 3-4-3........i get one disallowed goal,hit the post once,got 3or4 very good chanches to score,but....nothing,match finishes 3-0.

Both adriano and ibrahimovic were man marked by zapata and fernando meira,which are good defenders,but it was useless.

After this i dont know what to say,i give up,i tried everything,i would like to resign but i dont think its the best idea....i only know that i played three good matches and i lost all three 3-0,in the last one my defenders gave 2 goals to inter,i dont know why my left defender just stopped when he was in clear advantage when they scored the first goal.....

I'm not complaining to SI,i know they are inter and even if i play good i should lose,but at least make me lose 1-0 or 2-1 with a great play from their star player,not 3-0 after 45minutes with my defenders sleeping!

sorry people just wanted to share my sadness,lost three competiotions and cant say i really deserved it....

Well i know u might get me wrong.. But i am sure u played those matches after u installed the 801 patch..

The match engine has changes.. so slow down ur pace and attacking mentality..

Give more space to ur ST by trying to play ur way out of crowding ur opponent penalty are..

As for marking the st.. there are many ways for marking them..

IMO adriano is a Target man.. so Closingdown is always..

Speed deamons must have Closing Down set to never and tight marking set to always...

trust me... give it a night to try 10 tactics with many paces and passing insturction with attacking mentality set just after normal..

Firstly I never bother with man marking, not with my centre backs anyway as good strikers will just drag them out of position. If you really want to man mark a player then use a defensive midfielder to do it, I'd recommend using zonal marking as a general rule. Works for me anyway.

Which team are you by the way as you haven't said?

Of course it might just be that Inter are better than you and their manager employed better tactics than you did. Many teams have bogey teams that they struggle against. In my first season with Man Utd I lost 2 cups to Chelsea and lost to them in the league. But Chelsea are a good team. I just accepted it and concentrated on improving my squad. Now a few seasons later Chelsea are down in 5th and I've won the league for the last 2 seasons.

Don't give up.

How frustrated must you feel man!! I fear that my PC would've said hello to the pavement at the end of the 3rd match!! Keep the faith though, drink guinness. Good things come to those who wait.

thank u for your reply man...yes i have played these games with the newest patch installed....but still i dont know if the patch is the problem.....because i played with other good teams(milan,juve,lazio,sevilla,marseille)and i have done ok....it is only against inter that i cant do anything..

but i am interest in your tactics suggestions....but let me understand:

by saying "closing down" do you mean the pressing attitude???

as for adriano and ibrahimovic.....i first went into opposition instruction and set both to be tight marked,and then i went to my tactics and set specific marking for both of them.....

and as for the mentality....i dont use the general team mentality....i set it different depending from the player....for example striker's mentality is full attack,the more creative central midfielder has just a bit more offensive mentality than normal,while my other midfielder has a normal mentality....

lol i didnt mention my team...i am napoli anyway....starting team is....

Bartoli(GK),Vargas(LeftDef),Meira,Zapata,Jacobsen( Right Def),Bresciano(LeftMid),Riquelme(or Hamsik),Migliaccio(or Maresca,or Banega),Mancini(RightMid,new buy for 4th season),Cavani,Quagliarella(or Lavezzi).

i play with a 4-4-2,quick(but not so quick,halfway from the top)tempo,zonal marking,offside trap,target man are the wingers,while the playmaker is Riquelme.

Thanks for your suggestion and support,i will try to use man marking with a midfielder!

I have to find a way to counterattack Inter,becaue i am playing them in the second match of the Serie A........aaaaaaaah nightmares!!!!

Do you know that our team instructions are very very similar??the only diffrence is the creative freedom(which i leave to normal),the tempo(which is kind of fast for me),and the time wasting(which i leave to normal).....it looks like a good tactic,but i dont know if i can use it,because my left and right midfielders are not like ronaldinho and messi that like to play in the center,they are more like true wingers....well bresciano could actually do it,but mancini i dont think so...

To be honest if you've finished second in the league with Napoli then it sounds like you have a good tactic already and I'd be reluctant to change it much.

Maybe just concentrate on altering things before and during the Inter games so you can figure out how to beat them. Second in the league with Napoli is pretty good, I'd be happy with that.

lol yeah my pc was close to be thrown away after the first 2 matches.....but in the halftime of the third match i wasnt angry at all...i moved my head like to say"what can i possibly do about it"and then just changed the tactics,and set the match view to only written commentary....
