Previously, when players were running at your defence then yout defenders would back off and allow them time to shot and sometimes resulted in goals which really shouldn't have been so easy. This still happens sometimes but not as often which is realistic so this a great improvement.
However, when players beat one of my full backs and are running towards goals then both my centre halfs run in a straight line towards goal and make no attempt to close him down allowing him to have a free shot. Really should the nearest one not immediately close him down and the other one cover him. I've changed some of my player instructions but nothing seems to help this. The patch has fixed most bugs but this is one that still irritates me.
