this also happened in my Madrid game in fm07. i had £22M to spend on transfers, messi demanded a transfer and was listed for £25M. the deal was delayed then rejected after i pestered the boad for the extra £3M, and he was sold to Roma for £37M.

But yes, some excellent ideas there. Particularly like 2 + 3. 1 would be a bit more difficult, because generally I don't even know who I'm going to buy until I look around a bit. But it would still work.
I've been asking for the ability to have some sort of contact with the board about giving just an extra £2m or so for ages. But these ideas are even better :thup:
