i'm blackburn have a really gr8 player in Sergio Aguero and 14 teams made an offer for him only 22.5 million as he is now he's worth 20 milloin by my club i dont want to sell him he's an asset to my club so why does the chairman interfere and go over my head and accept thease bids and say the offer was to good to turn down. its not even as if my club need the money i've worked hard and got the finance's top end of rich can anyone add to this or help in anyway
never saw chairman interfere for me.. even when man city richards was geting 85 mln offer ><
money is kinda useless if you got decent team.. as most players cba playing in english league club.. and those club ratings were bit screwed with beta patch 1.. dunno if it was fixed now. but when you progress as much as i did with man city and instead of rising droped by 15 spots. that was just wrong ;p

thanx
Best way to stop any bids coming in is to put a ridiculously high asking price. This will put off any bids from clubs. Try it, definitely worked for me. If Aguero is worth 20 then put asking price of £140million!!
thanx for the advice but even still do we not think that this bit of the game should be restricted to the smaller clubs and if not would it be a good idea for the next football manager to be able to talk it through with the chairman and be able to put your point across to him why they should not sell the player in question or Threaten to resign if he does not but out

In the real world this happens, even with some big clubs

can you name any transfers were this has happend and if it has its not really made public so i've not read anything like this in the papers (not that they are reliable)
also to go back to the other question would this be a good idea for the next game
I believe chairman interferance should be in the game the way it is. Even if I feel like murder from time to time.
I would like the chairman interferance to be built out abit though. I want reactions from fans and players when the chairman or yourself by all means sell their favourite or a top performing key player. I think this is an area that can be developed in many ways. Even if it might be the height of stupidity I think you should be able to picka fight with your chairman over sells you don't approve of.

thats spot on but how do you get this into the game. To be able to fight it out with your chairman about bad deals good deals and interfering with deals would just make a gr8 game (let me say that again a GR8 game) gr8er does anyone else agree with this
I agree. I also think the chariman should be able to bring in players he likes (like ahbramavich brought in shevchenko) and even demand he plays. Maybe limit this to some owner/chairmans.
Also you could have at some clubs technical directors which do all the purchasing, perhaps as manager you could ask for a MC and he goes out and gets the one he thinks is best.
