Wasn't board confidence supposed to have been fixed?

I'm, well was manager of Man Utd, my target at the end of the 2 year plan was to win the Premiership, which I achieved in the first season. First season stats

Premiership - Champions
CL - Semi finalists
FA Cup - 4th Round
League Cup - 3rd Round

In my second season, I was in a 3 way battle with Chelsea/Arsenal and was set to win the league when in the space of 3 weeks, Voronin, Rooney, Tevez and Saha were all injured, the first 2 out for 3 months and Tevez for a month. Second season

Premiership - 3rd
CL - semi finalists
FA Cup - Winners
League Cup - 4th Round

Yet I was sacked, in fact, I had a few news items a few weeks before the end of the season saying "United board concerned manager may not sign new deal".

Shambles.
