i don't know if there is a problem or not...before i patched i was galatasaray n smacked the league 3 years in a row...after i patched im in relegation zone with what i thinks is my strikers not finishing good clear cut chances...but you guys are saying you ain't got this problem so whats wrong with me then?:S

Then try different tactics different line ups maybe (god forbid)change your line ups and tactics and see how it goes,Maybe just maybe you will have to think mid game,I really enjoy this game the best yet and have been playing since football manager on speccy and 9798 on pc as I feel I do have to keep changing things...again just my personal thoughts.

Daylight...i got 12 different tactics...don't worry though i ain't writing if the game like all these other people...im still going to try and get out of this situation thats if i don't get sacked

I can see your point but really why should people change their tactics that are actually working (after all 5+ clear cut one v one chances per game is pretty damn good and an indicator your tactic is working) because of a major flaw in the match engine?

Im sure it doesnt happen to all as its down to a certain way of playing (imo its down to fast counter attacking), but after the 2nd beta patch looked so good its incredible that the full patch carries this flaw.

I maybe get this prblem every so often pre patch when I played as Ipswich I had it a few times before I got promoted and for some reason in premership against derby every game,now playing as leeds maybe 1 or 2 times in the 1st 24 games but I just put that done to "these things happen"and move on,I honestly think that alot of the people that complain about this"bug"dont take the full picture in when they have 8 games out of 10 that end up with ..home team 20 shots 12 on target score 3 away team 16 shots 6 on target score 1.

Here's my problem:

My defensive midfielder, doesn't matter who, has forgotten how to play - since patch has NEVER got an 8 in any game, virtually always 6, occasionally 7 and sometimes 5. This is with either Hargreaves, Carrick, Palombo. Tried different tactics in that position but it makes NO difference. Never had this problem before.
Play 4-4-2 diamond attacking - DM usually plays good role in that position but not since patch.
Gone virtually a whole season adjusting DM tactics but makes no difference as they're always rubbish.

I had this also and I aint saying this is the only reason but in 1 game I had alot of shots at goal but alot came from corners with the near post guy couldnt header for his life so I changed this after half time and soon seen a goal from a corner.Again this is just 1 way to look at it.

The best thing to do is post example pkm files of this happening in the bugs forum so that we have plenty of examples to look at.

lol...it just seems to me like a problem for some aint a problem for others...for me before the patch my dm was crap...but after patch in the games were my strikers keep missing grate chances...and the ai get 1 chance and score the only person who played well would be my dm
