Im in my 5th season with man Utd and just seen a goalkeeper get a 10 rating. Now with FM 07 goalkeepers regularly got 10. Not in 08, I mean most people struggle with a striker ever getting a 10. However, I was plaing against Reading, had 38 shots with 22 on target. Won 2-0, they were completely thrashed! Their goalkeeper though had an amazing match. My striker (named footballer of the year) had 12 shots with 7 on target, all one-on-ones. Had to rely on Breno to score a goal and Ronaldo to score from a corner.
Anyway, Im not complaining about missing sitters etc, I can't complain much because Im doing amazing. Just thought it was ridiculous that a goalkeeper could get a 10. Surely this proves that super-goalkeepers are back?

Anyone ever had a goalkeeper get a rating of 10? Post #2
In just about all my games I have millions of chances but maybe only win by 1 goal or get a 0-0 scoreline. but the keeper doesnt normally get any more than a 9 - which is still anoying
that said, in the post match analysis my goalkeeper (casillas) is ALWAYS (and i mean always) the best for some reason

A goalie getting one ten against you in five seasons does not mean super keepers are back. If a goalie was getting a 10 every other match maybe but in five seasons no.

My reserve keeper once got one despite us losing 3-2 to Arsenal. Funnily enough he immediately went into our favoured personnel list, although he went off it some time later.

must be nearly impossible, after all if the teams playing very well the keeper doesn't have that much to do, if they aren't then he's really up against it and will almost certainly concede a couple.
