I started just after the patch and what with the wife wanting me to finishing the house painting(hmm)never got going but now at the half way stage in the league I just lost my 1st game 1-0 to swindon only 4 points behind forest so very confendent of winning it but now I have the feeling of just wanting the season to finish so I can get on with the championship challenge,Strange never felt this before or is it just I got the right players at the right time for Leeds,Thoughts from other Leeds managers would be nice.
I played half a season with Leeds (before the first beta patch) and managed to get into the play off places.
I think they've got a good enough core of players to be challenging for promotion and with the 1.7 million spending money, you've got the dosh to strengthen even more.
Ahhh ok just I loaned 4 guys from my new parent club and bout 3 new players 2 who are doing great so was just wondering if I was doing great or if infact it didnt matter that leeds would do great without them signings and indeed me as manager

If you tell the board you are going to win the league then adjust your budget you can expand your transfer budget quite considerably.
Not with me. i got fired abbout 5 games before end of firsy season. I said top half finish and i then won my 10 games in a row which took me to 6. I then lost 3-2 to nottm forest and got sacked
