Rafa left Liverpool and was replaced by Adrian Boothroyd
Ferguson got sacked from the scum as they were in 15th and was replaced by Lippi - fair enough, he lasted 4 months though and was replaced with Steve Coppell.

yeah roland nillson. former coventry defender. i had him on my books once too on cm 97/98. i think i bought him for lincoln city. full back if i remember rightly. anyway, i saw him appointed as boro manager after both southgate and mowbary got the sack in the first season. also, one really funny one, graeme souness appointed manager of hamilton academicals.

Steve McClaren re-employed by England :-S
I don't think i've seen too many bizarre ones other than that. Althouh in FM07 Paul Le Guen formally of Rangers was given the Man United job after Fergurson was sacked.

Well I saw something ludicrous a while back, steve McClaren took the england job, would never happen in real... oh.
cheap digs aside, terry butcher resigned from Ipswich and then took the job again a short while later, effectivly replacing himself. plus david beckham, at any club, I remember leicester specifically. both of these were a while back, either in 05 or 06
