i was thinking about this yesterday...and i think that SI should skip to FM2010....not because maybe they have run out of new ideas, but because this way they would have more time for programming and making a great and fully renewed game....because honestly 1 year is not enough....

but i dont think SI will do this...and i can understand them.....why would they lose the income for the next FM?

I'm sure they can come up with 2 more screens you have to click through before you can start a match by next year.

not take a year off, but maybe hire more testers to catch some of the bugs that really should've been spotted sooner.

If SI charge £15 for a data update to FM08 next year I wouldnt want to venture into this forum. It would make this years atmosphere seem like Christmas at Mother Theresa's.

Instead of a whole new game next year how about an add on for 08, maybe a couple new leagues, obviuosly updated data base, charge 15 quid for it bibs your uncle. Maybe even include a few fantasy leagues such as a Euro premier league. </BLOCKQUOTE>Well if u want my opinion....this new FM is more of an add on to FM07 than a new game...i mean there is no substantial difference from FM2007....and thats why i say they should take a year off...quality&gt;quantity

SI can't do this. Financial reasons obviously. SI need to release a game every year, however we do not need to buy a game every year so it is much easier for us to take a year off and see what the next release offers.

That was never an issue. The bugs were spotted, but the release schedule meant that there wasnt enough time to fix it. It's the release plan that needs altering so that testers get more time testing the finished product.
