IMO the game was ok with the 1st beta patch, the 2nd patch however has ruined the game for me, hence why i bought CM 01/02 today.

But from what i have been reading iirc on these forums most people prefer the 2nd beta patch.

Match engine is worse with the full patch, best to go back to one of the Beta patches for now until things get fixed.

What things make 08 better than 07? I have both but not played 08 yet as wanted to wait for a patch before starting a game but I am enjoying 07 at the min and into my 3rd season so don know if I should carry on with 07 or start 08.

game engine is more realistic.

u now can win and loose more with normal tactics.

u dont need an tactic super tweaked and modded to win all games.also game engine simulate a more broad version of fotball.

fm 2007 was more get good wingers and a jumping 18+ striker and win everything.

atm i play with lazio and my attackers sucks mostly in the air so i have devolped an narrow run with ball attack through middle tactic. very fun.

Better with patch

Hopefully the International results will be hard coded into the next patch so we get the correct teams playing in Euro 2008.

Probably won't be until mid Feb though
